The Packaging and Procurement Manager is an exciting opportunity to be part of this journey join the Product and Buying team at our Milton Park offices. 

Reporting to the Head of Product you will act as the packaging and consumables specialist, supporting the team by leading sourcing, procurement, production execution and the delivery of premium, brandelevating packaging across all channels. In return you’ll benefit from hybrid working, generous holiday allowance, fantastic product discounts and investments in your professional training and development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and procurement for packaging, tins, print and other produced components
  • Manage and optimise supplier relationships, including cost models, MOQs and lead times
  • Uphold and execute brand standards across all packaging and printed assets
  • Deliver costsaving initiatives through material optimisation and supplier strategy
  • Ensure all items meet functional, quality and regulatory standards, overseeing sampling and approvals
  • Troubleshoot production or supplier issues with a pragmatic, solutionled approach
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and execution consistency

About You

  • Significant experience in packaging sourcing, production or procurement within retail/FMCG
  •  Strong understanding of brandled physical product execution (packaging, tins, printed materials)
  • Proven ability to deliver cost efficiencies and optimise supplier performance
  • Highly detailoriented, qualityfocused and able to manage multiple complex projects
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of margin delivery
  • Proactive, solutionsfocused and comfortable operating at pace
  • Confident working crossfunctionally and influencing key stakeholders
